Weekly Warm Up No. 31
Hellooooo, Friends.
Did you ever have one of those weeks where it’s just not working? Not working includes (but is not limited to):
- Snaggle Tone
- No Clear Plan (you finish the session asking: “What have I been doing?”)
- Interrupted Practice Sessions
- Cancelled Practice Sessions
- Sitting in a chair with the guitar and thinking about everything EXCEPT music
If so, you’re in good company.
Some of you know I keep a practice log. One of the advantages of capturing this information is you can read it during a tailspin to see the long term trajectory of your work (because it’s seldom a straight line). So, consider capturing your practice if only for the weeks when things are going wrong….it can offer glimmer of hope in the darkness.

This indicates that you play play these two fingers simulatneously.

In these instances, you pluck the first pitch in the right hand & the second pitch in the right hand (where the slur is set to occur).

Quarter note set @ 80 BPM.
