Happy New Year!
Hello and Happy New Year (I can just get that in under the wire)!
It’s been a minute since my last post but I’m happy to say that it’s been an exciting few months. It’s been non-stop travel this season teaching at UNCSA, Peabody, & UMBC while performing. Good news is that I’m racking up those frequent flier miles! I’ve included a few photos from some recent concerts. A big thank you to the Fulbright Association, who invited me to perform at the Library of Congress as part of their gala honoring Doctors Without Borders. It was a great evening; I was honored to be there, and had the privilege to meet Harriet Fulbright!
Another big thank you to the editor, Bill Piburn, at Fingerstyle 360 for inviting me to write a regular column for this online guitar journal! Please take a moment and check out this wonderful magazine.
Finally, I’d like to share a clip from a performance I gave this past summer, at the Performing Arts Institute, of Leo Brouwer’s 3rd guitar concerto “Elegiaco.” Click the photo below and enjoy!
Wishing everyone a great 2013!
