An Echo of Summer From the Road

The end of summer finish line has been reached and I wanted to share this collection of songs that ended up as my final road trip playlist. As with most playlists, at least for me, it starts out with a random collection of songs and slowly evolves into a mix tape challenge—John Cusack explains this clearly in “High Fidelity.” So, here I am with this grouping of tunes that have slowly found each other over the course of the summer.
Who knew that Ray Charles could fit with Steve Reich and that Daft Punk could work so well with Leonard Cohen—the latter could be a future collaboration!
